Axle question

to make a centered rear axle for a 60 you use mini truck shafts right?

I would use 1986 and later rear axle shafts, as they are wider than the 1985 and earlier.

i was thinking that, but will the mini truck 85 and older shafts work for the same width as a 60? im just trying to make it match my 62 front axle

no, ifs (1986 and later) axles are the same width as a fj60 axle at 58"

thats good ot know i always thought the early mini truck axles were the same width, so now i need to find a ifs axle
