The LC200 has 5x150 lug pattern. The gx has 6x139.7. The 100 and 80 Series has the same pattern as the GX. However both of those axle has about 8 inches offset to the right. Also all the upper control arms and lower control arms location are different. Also, abs sensor and ring tone are different style.
The 100 series also have the 5x150 lug pattern.

LC 200 ABS sensor is exactly same as GX so you can keep ATRAC. 100 series are old style that still use tone ring. 200 series is part of rear wheel bearing that trigger the sensor just like GX.

The Differential offset should not give much issue and actually give better clearance to the fuel tank at max articulation.

Link arm location is at totally different location, need new bracket welded on.

Panhard bar also swing from the other side. Need new bracket welded on.

KDSS bracket need to be welded on as 200 series KDSS is linked to the trailing arm.

Track width differences are not an issue if you use OEM 5x150 wheel with +60 mm offset. Run 6x139.7 to 5x150 60 mm adapter and front and rear would match like GX with 0 offset.

Drive shaft bolt pattern might not be the same. GX is 66x66 and I could not find the info on LC200 yet.

Rear shock might just need bushing change. Many people in Australia use land cruiser rear shock to gain longer travel years ago before it was available.

LX570 rear axle sells at much cheaper price than LC200 series. Since you have to whack all bracket it does not make any difference in this application.

I did that to 1 oem 8" and 1 OEM 8" with a locker and 4.56 and went to the 9.5 and no issues since thankfully. Going to 4.88s in Q1 assuming the RCLT comes out and moving to a 37

RCLT?

finish with the 8.2 swap. pretty much straight forward beside the 2 brackets for the kdss sway bar.

Where did you source your complete axle from?

I installed an e-locked 8.2 with KDSS from a 2013 4Runner in my 2005 GX470. It was completely plug and play. The KDSS brackets lined up perfectly with the GX470 KDSS rear sway bar.
Is $2300 reasonable (JY) retail used pricing for a 5th gen 4R KDSS rear diff (maybe/prossibly with eLocker)? car-part.com, located in Florida

I paid a lot less than that, but it was years ago - I'm not sure what current pricing is like.

I see a lot of people getting the 2010+ FJC AT rear axles, but not many getting 5th gen 4runner axles. I am looking at a 2016 4runner Trail/Offroad AT 3.727 factory locked rear axle and wanted to make sure this is suitable as well.

Wow lately I seeing a lot of guys chasing 8.2 axles. Glad I'm not one of those guys, price is the same as a diamond and still weak when your a heavy Gxs in my opinion. Here some comparisons I put to together in my garage. Yes my gx470 will be getting a 9.5 w/Arb 488s.

Isn't the 8.2" the largest "straight swap" with 3.73 gearing?

the diamond rear axel does swap right in. it's a custom built unit, and I think the latest poster is arguing that with the 8.2 hype, the price difference is minimal for getting something much more indestructible.
ah, I see that. I just looked them up. I'm sure they're much stronger and I'm sure it's nice to have that piece of mind. However, it looks like it's closing in on $5k by the time it's sent to your door. That's a bit rich for my blood. I could break and replace a stock axle 5 times over for that cost.
