So I got the first scam email from Craigslist regarding the sale of my Range Rover which has already been sold, but thought I would mess around with this guy. Here is how it has gone down so far, hopefully I'll be able to keep up with some updates if he responds after my last one, but I doubt he will.

Email from myself to James Keefer:

Mr. James Queefer,

The final price on the item is $10,000 USD. I will certainly accept US Certified Check. Using your private shipping company will be awesome. That way you wont have the need to test drive the vehicle and possibly realize how unreliable Range Rovers really are. So to answer your questions:

1. Yes you can trust me with the money. I use to have a bad meth problem a few years ago, but that was then, I have since cleaned up and have become a very trust worthy person. I need to sell the Range Rover to pay for the damages I caused during a minor fender bender I was in with the Range Rover. I completely destroyed this Mini Cooper and I have to pay the person back. The Range Rover drove completely over that little f*cker! You're really getting one bad ass TRUCK!

2. I can wire transfer you the money the same day, but I know you are a trust worthy person, if you let me know how much you will be sending, I will be happy to go ahead and pre-pay the shipping company now in order to secure this deal. I want you to be able to get this truck as soon as possible. I actually have a few unused Visa cards I received last Christmas, hopefully the shipping company will be able to accept these as partial payment also!

3. I'll be available whenever the shipping company comes, oh wait, as long as its not Tuesday nights, I have driving classes that I was required to take after the accident, can you believe they said I was driving recklessly. That Mini Cooper had no business pulling out of the handicap spot while I was trying to find my parking spot Title Max. I walked away unscathed though, Range Rovers are so SAFE!

4. The working condition of the item is okay like you asked. There is a faint smell of burning roadkill coming up from the right front wheel, but if you drive with the window down, you don't even notice it.

5. YES! The item is still available. I'm actually shocked that nobody has purchased the Range Rover yet. It really is a poon magnet and you'll really enjoy it!

Bushrod to James:

James,

I have decided to raise the price of the Range Rover to $20,000 USD. I hope this is ok. I figured it is such an awesome truck that I should get what it’s really worth.

Thanks,

Bushrod

Oh ma this is too much. I have had the same kind of clown with the same pitch trying to dupe me too.

What happens when you get a cashiers check for $20,000......

Why this sudden change?

James

Anyone have a sweet message back I can send this guy...

Tell him you have a couple of kilos of dust that you need to get transported with it, and the extra money is insurance for the payload.:lol::lol::lol:

You can make up some title fees and such, and state taxes, and federal stuff, Obama taxes, High gas milage tax, suv tax, 4x4 tax, High pollution tax, luxuray tax. He's probably from Nigeria and might believe some of that stuff.

"The gentlemen from INTERPOL were interested in my transaction with you and after giving them copies of everything we have discussed they agreed to not press charges against me...... Apparently, they already have you under surveillance and are about ready to sweep in and arrest you and your friends for some reason so you may need the $20,000 to get your ass out of prison."

Just like people in Afganstan believing monkeys pilot the drones

It am shocked with what people believe and think that are from the 3rd world.

All those Craiglist scammers could be doing something productive instead of going after stupid people here in America
