And for those of you that don’t read the ClubLexus forum….once you have this installed DO NOT PRESS the on off button for auto start/stop. If you do the rig will revert to it’s original Auto/stop start state functionality.
It’s easy enough to get the disable dongle active again by unplugging it (yes, you have to go through removing the dash parts again)
On the bright side, if you are ever in a position where you have to pass a smog/emissions test and some eagle eye inspector notices that the system is disabled….just push the button to un-disable .

Has anyone tried to remote start the LX after installation of the gizmo? I auto started mine last night at home, got in the truck (it shuts off after unlocking it) and when I restarted it, the auto started stop gizmo wasn’t working. After I got to where I was going and shut the truck off, it was sitting for a couple of hours, I restarted the truck and the gizmo was working again. Anyone test this yet?

Disabling auto Stop Start - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion
LX - 4th Gen (2022-present) - Disabling auto Stop Start - Picked up my new Luxury 600 Eminent pearl with palomino 3 weeks ago. Love everything about it except for the auto stop/start. Any way to disable this permanently? Miss the V8 sound in my LX570 but the electric steering and highway manners...

I thought I remote started one day a few weeks ago before taking the kids to school and didn't notice it stop working but will check again. Out of town so will be a few days.
Remote started this morning and the auto start/stop off light did not come on when I got in and started the car. I drove to the gas station and it started working again on the next restart.
Does this work on the new tundra hybrid.
For entertainment value I asked and Westside Lexus quoted me $1,040 for a starter replacement. Ordered mine today.
What else would you expect from a "feature" who's abbreviation is "ASS"
Its seriously a partial justification for my 4R purchases

While I agree that’s the dumbest feature ever, I definitely would not buy the LX because of that. I’ve had 4 4 runners and while they are bomb proof for what they are, they simply do not compare to a LC200/LX570/LX600. I absolutely love my LX600 and don’t miss anything from he LC200 except the spilt gate in the rear. The LX is far superior to it.
Didnt mean to discuss merits of one over the other but the cost of the lexus is way above that of the 4R
And I'm not convinced that there's anything on the lexus that I would really want over the 4R.....more complicated = more expensive to fix.....and the 4R's are pretty much bomb proof
But the Auto Start Stop (ASS) is truly the dumbest mandatory feature ever shoved into a vehicle

First snow day so first remote start and sure enough the auto stop/start light disable light doesnt come on.
I’ll have to ask my technician expert how remote start could affect the dongle’s ability to over-ride the auto start stop cancel.
Easy work around….use remote start. Car shuts off when you open the door, close door, re-lock door, unlock, get in and start and the overriide works.
Small price to pay to have this feature disabled.
