Has anyone used Auto-RX to remove oil sludge? I'm considering doing the high mileage flush and rinse.

Nope. I was just considering this as preventative maintenance since I'll be putting a few thousand into the next major service (baselining everything).

Feed it a good synthetic oil and a good filter...Toyota, M1, Wix, NAPA Gold. Drive for 5K or so and replace oil and filter when you do your baseline thing.

Mixed results for Auto-RX on bobistheoilguy.com.

Thankfully it has had Toyota synthetic from day one. I will definitely continue that.

I only stumbled across Auto-RX while reading @Romer's thread on his LX450. After he had his head off, he ran it through and seemed pleased with the results. I'm just wondering if there is a downside. I'm up for spending $50 to get the internals freshened up as long as it won't damage anything.

If she's had synthetic from day one, I don't understand the concern as to sludge. Maybe pull a valve cover and take a look?

Will do. Gaskets need replacing anyway and I figure I'll drop in a new starter while I'm in there.
