I did not read it that way. He specifically says "Price will adjust accordingly if repaired before someone buys. " So he wants more for it once the repair is complete.

Like many others, guy is confusing what they're listed for and what they actually end up selling for. The ones that people want astronomical money for are generally the ones that sit for months, inflating the hopes of sellers.
