I like the closing statement-
"Shop around carefully and watch out for the signs of abuse, and you'll end up with a good one. Buy a dodgy example and it will cost you plenty to repair. When you find the right bargain, it will be a friend for life."

Friend for life, this is how I feel about my Land Cruiser.

Also, if you have some time to waste, check out the webisodes on the webpage. They do a nice job breaking the CV on a 200.:grinpimp:

A good trail repair and he drives it out, which I though was somewhat impressive.

I want to know more about this:

"There are several common engine conversions for those needing extra grunt, like the Chev V8 diesel or Gen III V8. Combine this with a locker and a set of gears to keep things turning in the rough. Gas conversions are common on the V8."

Considering Holden uses the Gen3 Vortec GM motors in everything, I wonder if Austrailian companies have conversion mounts. a 400 hp 6.2 GM motor would be nice in a 100 series.

Holy cow... A 1998 in OZ is $23Kish?

Wait until you see the Turbo Diesel prices.........
They are high in demand so the price goes up.
I wanted a 4.2TD automatic, but couldn't afford it. Then the LX470 V8 came up for a good price.

:hhmm:^ 2 inch lift to run 33s? we all know those fit stock. and a 5 inch lift???
