I am looking at replacing the old 2F clunker with a ford ED 4.0 OHC injected engine.
The Wreckers are selling them for 500 bucks with the computers, starter, AC and Power steering pumps. This gives about 150 KW vs 100 KW for the stock 2F, less weight and its fuel injected to boot (Great off road).
Both Dellowauto http://www.dellowauto.com.au/ and the Rod shop http://www.rodshop.com.au/ do a bell housing and engine mount kits for this conversion.
Has anyone had any experience with this conversion or any gotchas that are known b4 I start.
Also any feedbacks on the 2 kits as to which is better.
