Wish i could make this one but i have to work this weekend.

I am also waiting for a few last parts for this 1978 front axle housing that will be going under my 75 fj40 with disks and Longs complete.

Will be up there the entire 3rd week of Sep though.

i plan on coming. I will come Friday evening and ride saturday. I'll probably head out saturday evening though.

Looks like I might be able to make it on Friday night and then leave some time Saturday afternoon.
Question: Who has an 8 megapixel camera that's coming to this event. I need some high res pics of my truck for an article. :) Pimpin shots.

Sure do wish I could make it! I will be studying for my PMP test this weeked. Good news though, I sold my tires and am about to order my hysteer kit from 4x4Labs. Plan to hit the ground running for my SOA and 465 swap in mid September! Have fun and drink a few cold ones for me!

Well it looks like i'll be there as well with Martha Ann and Patrick. This will be Patricks first camping trip. Were looking foward to it very much!

I won't be there, but anxiously awaiting the details of the September ride.
I return to the States on Aug 30.

Guys, looks like I will not be able to make this one. Looking forward to the Sept. ride, if I don't have to go to Vegas for work :)

Everyone have fun and take lots of pictures.

Brad

Looks like I won't be making this one, although I'm looking forward to some good pictures of the event. My wife just gave birth to our 4th kid and I wasn't planning on leaving her with 4 kids (all 4 and under) by herself. I hope everyone has a great time.

Congratulations John, we will keep you posted on upcoming rides,

Hope everyone is doing well and we completely understand.

I've got the hardware but can't be there on Sat, I've got a 9-6 event I must be at. I'll be glad to take shots for you most any other time we can get together...

what is everyones feeling on other trucks(non-toyotas) coming? i have a buddy I am trying to convince on coming with an H3.

also with my fj cruiser do I need to take off the predator side steps to make it over the easy stuff? I will not be doing anything major with it just mainly testing the waters and watching ewveryone else.
Spence

Spence I will give you a call here shortly, I saw you had called, but as far as other vehicles I would say this, the consensus is going to be that this is an ONSC ride and event, while we invite those friends and family to join we need to keep it mainly club related. With that said we also invite those interested in becoming a part of the club (keep in mind owning a toyota 4wd is one of those requirements, and seriously what's not to say after seeing a land cruiser perform they might opt to trade there current vehicle in for one) to join us one time to see what ONSC has to offer.

the H3 isnt going but the owner is so I hope he is impressed with what all the rigs can do!

My brother, my friend and myself will be there friday night leaving out winston around 630-7pm.

I don't personally have an issue with non-Toyota's. It'll make for some fun pictures and YouTube videos if we get to pull the H3 over obstacles. But, in all seriousness we don't have control over who is on the trails. Another option is to have your friend come out Sunday since it seems almost everyone is leaving Saturday evening.

Spence, i think im going to go despite the bald front tires. if you guys arent leaving til 6:30-7 ish i might just convoy with you guys. If you dont mind.

Any idea on the trail conditions? I am hopefully coming and bringing my two young daughters and if it super wet we may skip it. This needs to be a really fun experience so I can bring them again, again and again. We plan to leave Raleigh at around 730 am at the latest.

Any idea on the trail conditions?

I don't know the trail conditions currently, but the ground there seems to dry out within a day or two of any rain. I wouldn't expect the trails to be muddy. There may be a couple of wet or muddy spots, but don't expect mud.

Worst case, y'all can come out and catch a ride with someone else. I know several of us will be out there with 80s. I'll have a couple of open seats myself.
