4 runner will def make it stock with 31's I have wheeled 2 up there.
Cant make the ride. I am doing the Over the Mountain tour with the UPstate Cruiser and Toyota Trail Team guys.
Usually one wheelin weekend per month is all I can afford!
I was up there on the trails by 730 a few weeks ago and its is very nice to be off and home by early afternoon that is a great call for sure.

I should be able to make the ride based on latest work plan. I'll plan to be there Friday night with my family (4 + dog) and camp Friday and Saturday nights.

addicted56,
looks like you got a sweet deal on the 4runner. You've got a lot of work ahead of you getting the engine running. Before my 80 I owned an 89 4runner (1st gen) for 17 years so I have experience with the 3vz engine and that gen of chassis. It may be terms for dismissal, but you should also check out yotatech forums since they have a strong 4runner and pickup group. You should touch base with Fort Knox since he has a built 95.

AWESOME DUDE!!! COWABUNGUA!!!

Sorry couldn't help myself.

The shop is closed for the next 2 days but I should have the 4-runner up an running by Friday. So it appears I won't have to bum a ride to the event.

I'm getting stoked for it.

Do you have directions to this campsite? I have never been to Uwharrie before.

Very interested in joining you guys(Sat. morn.), even though Im no longer a cruiser owner. Still a Toyota owner though. What do you guys think about an 07 Tacoma with a 6inch lift and 35s, no gears, no lockers, no armor, no winch. Will I be struggling to keep up, and holding you guys up ? I dont want to be "that guy".

Jeff,

You will be fine we always make sure our drivers tackle only what they feel comfortable. If they want to just ride along we always have a few extra seats.

I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Probably leaving RDU around 3-4pm and coming back Saturday evening.

Jeff you will be fine, I would love to see that truck.

I will be there friday evening hopefully around 5 or 6 and possibly sat. night also.

I'll be there Friday night with my family (4+dog). Also plan to stay Saturday night.

I'll be there. Probably +1. We will see...she isn't fond of bringing our mutts but if I can convince her she will show. They aren't exactly call of the wild material.

(Someone might be taking me on a ride though in the morning...progress on the 4-runner's fuel system has been meager to say the least)

Im in w/ one friend (possibly but doubtful he will be in his stock tacoma) and one dog, and of course i vote for Q :D. Plan to come friday night and stay for both rides and luch..... undetermined if staying sat night but most likely.

sheesh, im the only one in for BBQ??? i pass through Lexington on the way down and also have a pretty decent joint here in town. Only down side would be safe storage and heating but i dont put it past us to figure that out.

I'm in, possibly with the wife and dog. We'll be coming in Saturday morning. Hopefully we can get rolling early enough to catch the morning ride, but it could be tough since I'm no morning person.

I am working on coming Saturday AM with my 2 daughters. No camping this time. Just want to get the 100 on the EZ trails and show my girls around.
