2010 lx570. When I start the truck after it's been baking in high heat the radio has a mind of its own. Sometimes it ejects a cd or it goes to different sources like sat 2 or fm etc. This happens pretty briefly and as soon as some heat has been evacuated it's back to normal. Not a big deal but just seeing if I'm alone with this condition?

I have noticed several times on mine that i can't adjust the volume with the knob when it is super hot, but the steering wheel controls still work.

Yeah I've had that too. Or volume will go opposite of the way the knob is turned

I have a theory that I'm having trouble confirming, but it's that the small cooling fans in the sides of the NAV/stereo unit go bad and lead to both this, and occasionally rhythmic humming sounds when the weather cools down and the remaining fan bushing lubricant gets thicker. Sometimes those sounds are the under-seat amp for Mark Levinson systems in the LX570, but others report the issue without that amp.

So if you end up having to pull the head unit, try and figure out whether those fans are working.
