I have decided to buy either a 60 or an 80 some time in August or September. I have been reading quite a bit on this forum about the two becoming familiar with typical maintinance issues associated with ownership. I have worked quite a bit on Jeeps, Isuzu Rodeo and an 85 toy 4X4 truck, so I am comfortable with tools and busted knuckles.
My question is, since there are many cruiser owners on the board from the phoenix area, I woul like to offer/ask if I can help out on your next wrenching session. Not only is a second person helpful, but I can begin to become familiar with the rigs and their owners. I have all the hand tools needed, beer if wanted and an airconditioned garage if I needed to host the party or someone wants to wrentch at a comfortable 72* regardless of the outside heat.
A large reson I am comfortable buying an older cruiser is the knowledge and comraderie within these forums and figure since I will eventually be a family member, I might as well get to know ya'll now!
Anyone?
