OK I ma sure there are a few of you here smarter than I...so I ask....what is a good mobile app like quickbooks.
something to track expenses and time and mileage...i have been using quickbooks on my laptop but wonder if ther is a better or equivalent mobile app, before i get a new phone or computer.

any recommendations....I work in the construction field...

Quickbooks (intuit) makes an app for the iPhone and iPad that appears fairly promising.

Sorry Shaun, I'm a techie, but I don't use any cost tracking apps

If you want to track miles driven, calculate fuel mileage or whatever, I can help, but everything else I'd just write down in a notepad.

For our personal stuff, we use mint.com. I don't know if it tracks mileage, but it synchs with our bank account and allows you to set budgets, etc.

I use quickbooks mobile. It works great since you can do everything on any mobile device and work also on the computer. It comes with a price, but you have all the info in the cloud. Another thing that i like is that i just make one invoice. I dont have to get home and enter all invoices or have the book keeper do it. Also you can link it to ur credit card provider and invoice by email.

I have a little trick that might help somewhat, when I travel for work I take pictures of the receipts with my phone. At the end if the week I use a PDF conversion tool, tons of free ones in the App Store and market, and email the PDF to myself with the date in the file name.
