Attaching Your own attachements?

Woody, how do you attach your own attachments? I wanted to post a pic I had already stored under my attachments and kept getting an error message. I tried using the url that showed up when I clicked on the attachment itself, and I tried going to the thread and using the url from the pic itself. No go

Is there any way of doing that? Options are to pic from your Mac or from an url. Any way of being able to see and select from my pics already stored on the forum?
