I love the ARB air locker. :) It is a great product but reliability seems to depend on the quality of installer- that is usually where problems occur. The other instance is poor routing of the air lines to the compressor.

Incidentally, ARB intro'd a smaller "locker only" compressor that looks quite nice for a single locker application.
The "regular" ARB compressor can also double to air up tires, tho there is debate on doing this- I think it would be fine, but slow.

I believe the ARB air locker part #'s are:
#RD111 front (gear ratios 3.91 up)
#RD121 front (gear ratios 3.73 dwn)
#RD23 rear

Full drop, full lock, plus ARB up front.. I hear CV axles snap from here..

I thought we got vwey soon comoly front FJC CV axles :D

How said you cant use ARB up front with it off and have the ATRAC on. If you plan on wheeling an FJ go all the way:idea:

if you have front & rear lockers and you do this mod to have a-trac engaged all the time with the lockers.. then A-TRAC will never come into action because there never really isn't any slipage (theoretically) because torque is always split 50/50. And A-TRAC uses torque distribution to decide when to engage.. like an LSD

You miss understood me look at it this way. You are on the trail with the front open and the rear open you come up to an obstacle you turn on th A-TRAC. Then the A-TRAC is not working for you so you lock up the rear but you need the front to hold the same line. But that wont work with the A-TRAC on so you flip the ARB on to keep straight on the line you want. Once you have your line and going over the obstacle you can turn off the ARB and go back to open. You would have three options of traction up front you cant ask for any more:smokin:

Roger THAT.

I would just like the option to run front ATRAC and rear lock at the same time - many of us thought that was offering in the beginning. Now that we know better, we still want it!
