(deep breath)....that was a bummer!

I will say they made it far this year and set many records along the way. A great year to enjoy - will now look forward to seeing how Arians and Keim strategize and the upcoming draft where we (please, please) need to draft a good pass rusher or pick one up through free agency.

What other positions do you guys feel we need to look at? What about qb? Palmer only has one or two years left in his contract and with his age will either retire or wont be picked up.

I think we can all agree a good pass rusher is a must. Also would like to see 2 Badgers in the safety position (loosing Tyrann I think was a major loss of intensity for the D). And then there is Fitz, the all adaptable hard working, battery charger for the offense (hell the whole team), he is no spring chicken himself. Probably the hardest shoes to fill in the future. After what I have experienced with Cleveland, the QB position totally eludes my comprehension. Keim and BA have built a good foundation, I have no doubt they will add a ton of talent.

agreed that Mathieu's loss hurt the defensive dynamic as a whole. once bethel was forced into being the starting corner opposie of P2, teams went after that. Prior to that, the opposing teams really had no where to pick on. I do be,ieve that given time Bethel will become a very good corner, heck I remember p2's first year. He had growing pains too...

I think that other safety we need to focus on is Rashad Johnson. Isn't he a FA this year?

I think palmer will be the starter next year. The question is who will back up and can they step in when he gets hurt like I expect. Was a great year. I really have close to no desire to watch the superbowl

It was a good season, just sucked that it ended with a thud instead of a bang. Palmer was not at his best (likely his finger was worse than thought), lots of dropped balls, David Johnson's game was overshadowed by the loss, defense being a little too predictable, of course the PP fumble (WTF) . . .. Hey 26 other teams would be thrilled to switch places. We hung a banner and took back the West title. 14 wins is pretty significant and is a season to remember . . . . just pretend it ended in week 19.

We need to draft about 4 or 5 linebackers (inside and out) to hopefully let Deone move back to his natural Safety position. Some help at edge rushing and a thumping middle line backer to play next to Mintor (I don't think D_Wash will ever come back). As much as I like Lyle, we need a top notch Center to go along with our athletic guards, probably another CB or two to stockpile for the next season, and a NT like Aaron Donald wouldn't hurt either. Oh and someone other than PP to return punts! I think Stanton will be fine as a back up, and not sure if Barkley is the answer or whether a draft pick for a future QB is warranted.

Fear not fellow Cards fans, the future is still very bright. With Keim and BA at the helm there will be plenty to cheer about in the coming seasons.

Moving on to wheeling season . . . . .

All around good guy, youtube dance star, and Cardinals back-up QB Drew Stanton was in the other for service on his Toyota here at the dealership. He bought a heart for our American Heart Association charity drive. Nice down to earth dude ~

still cracks me up - gotta love the passion

Love that dance as well^^^
Sweet!
From the limited interviews I've seen, he seems like someone fun to meet.

What are you guys prepping for the game? So far I have a gallon sized ziplock of wings marinating in chipotle tobasco sauce.

Buddy of mine is smoking a brisket and beef ribs. I'm impressed how that smoker puts out some of the tenderest and tasty meats!

Being in a couple football pools will keep the game extra interesting. Last year one of my numbers was a "5" which usually sucks but after the safety in last years SB, I won two quarters with it for the first time ever. Lol

If you like defense , this Superbowl was a great game. Denver D did was no one else was able to.do and shut down the Panthers.

Manning could retire at the top Of his game and save his body. He's got enough Whip.

We need a couple of wrecking balls like Von Miller and Demaryius Thomas. Them wreaking havoc was just something to set the standard. Fun to watch from the defensive perspective.

I know it is not Bird talk, but thoughts on Markieff....

I am glad to see him go, the whole organisation is still dysfunctional in my opinion. Miss the good old days when Colangelo owned and Cotton and Paul were coaching.

Lots or rebuilding to do. Front office seems lost

Good riddance. A competent front office would have dumped both of the twins the day after they got in the coach's face during a game. Then we might still have a coach and a respectable roster instead of a D league coach and team.

Time to blow this mess up, starting at the top.

Mario Williams the talented pass rusher just got cut by the Bills as a cap casualty. At 31 years old, does he still have gas left in the tank?

He would look good in a Cardinals uniform if he comes at a decent price but afraid some other team will overpay for him.
