What's the skinny on Larry Foote? 1 more year, or is he going to retire?

Hat's off to him this last year for for getting it done.

I'm guessing he will start until washington returns from suspension then take a player- coach role.

He did a great job last year

They signed him as a coach but both parties are not ruling out a return to the field. Interesting tactic to keep a free agent in house.

Dockett signs with the 49ers!

2 year deal worth around 7.5m, more than the 2 yr / 4m the Cardinals offered - but I can imagine Dansby will return his tweets blasting him for "Chasing the money vs loyalty and a ring"

What will happen to the thousands of Dockett jerseys the fans own?

I wouldn't mind picking up the 49ers Wilhoit Inside linebacker which is a position we desperately need to add to. All they want is a 7th round draft pick - heck ya! He can add agility type speed and has shown to be a good player only to be let go because of their probowl talent of Navorro Bowman and Patrick Willis coming back from injuries

Good question...
Karlos has the one up IMO, he didn't choose a division rival and, most important, he went to my 'other favorite team'. I am cool with wearing both the 56 and 58 Cards jerseys.;)

Since Saturday was the first day to set up meetings, there has been a flurry of rumors. Come Tuesday the offical dealing begins.

I'm curious to see what the cue balls are scheming...

The Whiners are leaving SF like rats off the titanic. One of the best, Iupati is coming to AZ.

Gotta wonder if Doc is having second thoughts. Nothing's official until 1:00 Tuesday.

I don't see AP or Murray happening. The best way to improve a running game, long-term, is to improve the line. Get the right blockers, and anyone can run. That seems to be the approach. I'm also not sold on spending big $$$ on an established back with a lot of miles vs drafting fresh legs.

Still not sure why the cards aren't trying to hang on to Williams.

Anyone behind the Cowboys line would look good. We could take Melvin Gordon from Wiscconsin or Todd Gurley from Georgia with our first or second pick . These guys are big, fast, elusive 6-1 220 lb wrecking ball RB's. We have the best looking O line that we've seen in the last 8 years

Agree, I wouldn't rule out signing a veteran back but for a bargain not big money. That's why the AP talk is puzzling, giving up picks and/ or players and big money for a 28 year-old back doesn't seem to be in Keims DNA.

I still think he has a center on his wish list. If he pulls that out of his ass, look out .

After the restuctured Fitz and now Palmer contracts, they have freed up 20 million.:hmm:
Why? I would hope AP is in the thought processes, and it could benefit both short term and long term.

I have to admit that I'm leery. If he was a FA, I'd say kick the tires. But giving up assets and big money for a player on the downside who hasn't played in a year? That's a tough call.

Only 14 days till the draft, I would love to be in Steve Keim's head (maybe not)

The more I read and hear about Gurley, I could get excited over that pick alone.

Gurley is the big bruiser we need. Should be there at 24

Like Gurley big time, dare I say it? He'd be a better move than Peterson? Bad part is he's coming off an injury and may miss some or all of his rookie season. If he's there at one he should be considered. If he falls to two, take him and laugh like mad scientists.

I have a dream, trade Floyd for two or three high to mid round picks. Draft Strong, and have an extra pick or three to chase RBs and LBs.
