Are the 60/62 fenders interchangable?

I can only seem to find after market 60 series fenders. My white 88 62 got into a bad fight with a tree last week and lost.

yes bodies are the same.

no they are not quite the same, but can be made to work, forget what realy is differnt though, turn signals I think

I would think the headlight area would be the problem, round vs square lights!

I'm in seattle and am looking for the passenger side fender.


I have seen some aftermarket fenders listed as "60/62 fenders" other dealers have them listed and priced seperate. hence the confusion. I'm tempted to think that the headlights don't make any difference considering they are mounted to a seperate assembiy.


I would buy a used one if anyone has one.

i just received drivers and pasenger fenders from cruiserparts.net. i tried to order them to match my existing paint but they came faded with peeling clear coat. they were used for like 235 bucks including shipping to portland OR. mine came with small dents as well. they credited me 25 bucks for it but...i think i should have order new ones for 300 since i have to repaint the used ones anyway. you'll also have to paint new but at least they'll be perfect.
