I'm assuming Table Mesa Mine would be near Table Mesa Road, which is freaking hot desolate desert. Doesn't someone want to go run something up by Crown King or Payson or something? I'm dying here.

It has probably been 15 years since I last drove the Table Mountain Mine Road in the Copper Creek Area east of Mammoth.

So, this area is cool?

It's going to be hot as hell until about September. Tim Hill and I were just last week talking about a run in September. He doesn't want to do it in the heat.

I agree with no heat.
How about one of you guys that know the trail pick a date and lets get it on the calender Im in!

This would be a very hot run in the summer. It could also turn dangerous depending on daily monsoon-type of storms.

Apparently the locked gate that came up on this post has been ordered to be re-opened. So legally a through trip from Copper Creek to Aravaipa Canyon and on to Klondyke should soon be possible.
