Are FJ62 Power options swappable to the FJ60?

Wife wants power options in her 87 60.

Has this been done? How involved is this task? In the 80 series, they make the harness the same for all options IIRC... is it the same with the 60. Did Toyota place the electric options in the harness for the 87 model year?

If Yes... I'll look for a 62 donor

If No... Is the wire harness swappable with the one that hooks up to the 3fe and auto? From the firewall back?

She wants Automatic Starting capabilities with Auto Locking alarm.

That would be interesting. I am only interested in power door locks and power windows. To me it looks like everything is in the doors. And since the doors are the same they should be able to bolt on. Curious as well if the harness is already there.

you'll have have to cut holes for the wiring, but otherwise the doors are the same

Easy done with a 62 donor truck.......... simple power up wiring splice to the 62 harness...... I transformed one couple years back......no biggie......

as long as your 60 is a later model year, then it shouldnt be hard to do.
