ARB with winch,,,,Where do you put the licence plate?

So if you have and ARB with winch for your lovely 60, where do you put the licence plate? It says not to drill holes, but i want a sturdy hold on the plate so it doesnt come off, i.e., using screws to bolt it up to the bumper. What have others in cities which require the front plate done?

Get some of those clips that fit over the rollers, like for a Maglight. Screw the clips to a chunk of material that the licence plate screws to. When you're cruising around town, clip the plate to the fairlead. Pull it off as part of your pretrailride prep. I've seen others ziptied to the bars over the winch too.

It is and it works like it was made for the application.

Somebody makes a "flip up kit" that uses the same mounting bolts as the fairlead and has a hinge on the top... not sure if it will work with the shape of the ARB though...

screw the law.....I took most my front plates off

I drilled the plate and mounted mine like this

but I zip tied it on the 62

The best place for that front plate is on teh garage wall
