the cover has some scuffs on it, but not tears.
the tent itself is complete with ladder
only used about 4 or 5 times
I don't have any pictures of it open, and it looks like any other roof top tent folded up.

So, those tents actually cantelever out like that from the roof rack without any excessive strain on the rack mounts/roof of the 40, or lean on the 40 suspension, or bending of the tent floor hardware when humping up there ? This seems to violate the laws of physics ... somehow. Do those things acually work like they look? Amazing. I don't get it. I must have slept thru my mechanics of mechanisms and strength of materials classes at MIT

there are no stains from humping if that is what you are asking. 
the one side bolts down to a roof rack pretty solid with u-bolt deals
then it flips open and will only open flat
then the ladder adds additional support.
you can sleep in it without the ladder, but I wouldn't get crazy humping if your special lady friend is a big girl. with the ladder you could have two or three big girls in there with you. I suppose, I have no experience in the tent with 2 or 3 big girls and again there are NO HUMPING STAINS IN THE TENT.

The funny thing was Healy said excessive "STRAIN" on the tent from activity, not "STAIN", rofl:whoops:

this tent has no stain or strain. easy to get in, easy out, in, out, in, out
no matter your preference this tent is awesome for you.
like to sleep in? buy this tent
want to get to finally get to work early? pitch this tent in the parking lot and roll out of bed refreshed and on time.
tired of your kids waking you up before dawn? go sleep in this tent in the driveway.
mother in law coming over? put her out in the tent.
scared of crocodiles? sleep up off the ground in this tent.
this tent comes complete with mattress for sleeping on, tent for sleeping in, and all the other stuff it comes with like ladder, frame, cover etc.
it really is a sweet tent. if no one buys it I'll keep it, since it's so sweet
