Folks-

I recently bought my daughter her first car...Single owner 2006 100 Series with 284k miles in crazy good condition....got super lucky and she is thrilled.

However, when I went to open the tire carrier on the ARB bumper, it was extremely difficult. Upon closer inspection, I figured out why; the rubber piece at the end of the tire-side swingarm had been lost/removed/was gone. This caused the arm to rest metal on metal on the support tube at the furthest extent of the swingarm. So, I moved the piece from the much lighter jerry can swingarm over to the tire carrier swingarm, cleaned everything up and it works much better now.

MY QUESTION relates to the availability of spare parts for these bumpers. I have had some luck finding the part number for the red bumpstops that have completely disintegrated and they currently sit in my basket at Summit Racing.

My GOAL is to find a full sheet of the parts that go into the build of these bumpers, but I have low hopes for this being available.

SECOND BEST, would be the part number for the rubber end piece AND an idea of where said piece can be obtained.

I have requests out to ARB in both the US and OZ.

Many thanks to all IH8MUD folks for being such a resource.

Cheers!

Well, you are awesome. I should have gone to the instructions....

Now that I have the part number...I cannot find it anywhere....even adding the "SP" to ARB part numbers trick within the Summit Racing system.

BTW, I am awaiting a shipment from ARB, based off of the part number that their people gave me for the Urethane C....it doesn't match the description on Summit, but "that's the best we can do" was the answer, so I took a flyer on a sub $5 part...that part number, ordered from Summit, is 584302sp.

When everything arrives, I will update, because I bet this becomes more and more of an issue, as these pieces begin to wear out on the older trucks...my bump stops absolutely shattered when touched.

I will also be playing around with cutting out my own "Urethane C" for install.

I am in the same boat - my ARB rear has most plastic/rubber parts crumbling. When I called ARB USA office, they suggested looking up the nearest ARB dealer. Well, the dealer I called could get all the parts ordered but they were PRICEY!
