yep. got a call back and i'm going to pick it up this weekend. i'm really surprised he hadn't sold it, but it sounded like he didn't want to mess with shipping or driving to meet others who've called.

don't take this the wrong way guys, but damn i'm psyched. between this and the tuffy i found on CL as well - i'm on my way to a hat trick. :] this will definitely be the makings of a real build up thread once i get the lift to happen later in the summer.

Thats why he didn't call me..Sent a email early this morning.

Glad someone on here got it.

just one? for the money you saved me i'm getting you drunk. :]

the only problem is i don't know if i should put it on until i get new springs. the added weight could wear more on my already sad set.

Well, hopefully you sent him a check or something, or picked it up already...

I wanted to get the seat covers, emailed him, he said they were still for sale, I replied right then that I would take them, asked some clarifying questions, asked where to send the money order...

Get an email the next day - "um I sold them to someone by my house." (day after I asked where to send the check)

I would head out there sooner rather than later. It could be me though, I seem to have terrible luck with that stuff. Happened here on mud too - Said I would take the item (was still for sale), told the person I was in freeking China on a biz trip and will send the check when I get back - we agreed on a price, then the person gets all ansy and sells it before I get back"because he had people back out on him before"...What-ev - good motto for life "stand for nothing fall for anything, life is full of character tests"

If I cant get to it that day I usually ask the guy if he has PayPal. Then send him the cash or deposite right then and its done. I only do this on stuff I really want. It works have not had anything sold from under me yet. Now if I could only get the wife to approve things fast I would have a ARB on my rig.
