Not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but I just got done throwing an ARB on my 80 and the thing looks like its a little off-center. It seems to favor the passenger side. Not by much, maybe a finger width, but still. I rechecked my install and everything is in its place. I also checked to see if there were any gaps between the ARB and the frame ends to see if I could move it a little to the driver's side and its as snug as can be on the outside of the frame rails. There's some room on the inside of the frame rails, but that won't do me any good if both outsides are snug. Anyways, not the end of the world, just wanted to see if this was fairly common.

I noticed the same thing on this LX that's for sale. His seems to favor the passenger side too.

I made it a little easier to see here. On the driver's side, the bumper is flush with the flare. On the passenger side, its sticks out a hair more.

I noticed the same thing with my slee bumper. I don't think it's the bumper. I think I tagged the hanging piece of frame on a rock and bent it up 1/4 inch or so.

YOTA- maybe it's just me, but if you're trying to show a difference in how far the bumper sticks out from the vehicle, that is pretty impossible to see in a straight-on shot like the one you posted. Am I reading your post correctly?

Like I said, its not that big a deal. Just wondering if this was a common occurence.

It does not look off center but rather just a little higher on the drivers side.
The way I see it you have 2 options:
1. Don't worry about it
2. Take the bumper off. Find an absolutely level spot and place a 4 ft level across your frame members. Looks to me like the drivers side on has been popped up a 1/4 inche or less.
I would take option 1

Easy fix, just hit the side of the garage on the way in or a deer so the bumper moves back to the correct position!

winch

If you had a winch installed in the way more obvious gaping hole you could winch it over till you liked it.

I'll give you $100 for that mis aligned junker.

I'll take what's behind door #3.
