Been reading recent and old threads about ARB bumpers and I was just wondering if anyone has any other options for a front bull bar type deal? I don't offroad so I don't need something as stout as an ARB bumper, but I would like to have something up front to minimize minor damage to my front bumper. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

"minor damage" -- what are you planning to hit? It matters. Personally I hate the majority of bull bars out there. Just visit AZ or Texas especially and you'll see what I mean. Just about every truck has some chrome bar up front that looks as if it's made out of aluminum. Moreover, I hate the one's that come from under the vehicle and kill your ground clearance.
I say just avoid hitting things
