A few months back I purchased an ARB air locker for the rear of my 60. I finally got around to installing it this past weekend and all went good until it came time to install the trust block and measure the gap to determine the c clip thickness - (ARB sends 4 different width c clips). I started with the smallest in the kit (they recommend) 2.8mm and I went to install the thrust block to check the gap and the block won’t fit between the axle shaft ends. I’ve hammered, removed, reinstalled, switched sides of the clips, etc, and nothing seems to help. I even took a bolt with a nut to make a “spreader” and that didn’t work. The thrust block is 31mm wide, and the gap between the axle shaft ends is 30mm. The c clips are all the way seated best I can tell.... any ideas from the group?

Factory c clips are “wider” than the smallest ones that ARB supplies which would make the shafts closer together.

I talked with Brian with ARB USA this morning and discovered the issue. The correct thrust block is 29.64mm wide. The thrust block that came with the locker is 31mm. They are air dropping the new thrust block in the mail today.
