Will a ARB bull bar meant for the 75, 78, 79 series fit a 74 with factory pto winch?

cheers

Max

More than likely not

l am pretty sure the 75 and BJ70 bullbar is the same,l have installed 3 on BJ74 and you have to cut aabout a 12"by2" section from the front lower part of the bumper to make the PTO fit,and a spacer between the bumper and the winch and make the leverstop fit.and make a skidplate for the steeringbox,l have pictures if you like.

I see no reason why the bull bar would not fit. A little metal work here and there.

As for the pto you may have to alter the section as simon has described.

My avatar shows an ARB look alike bumper, the section in front of the pto had to be cut and reconfigured a little.

Thanks for the replies, that is what i kind of expected, if i can find a good price on one i might due it.

cheers

ARB into 70 series

Here's more pic's of mine being/installed. Slight modification, and it works. When I was looking at this to keep PTO, somewhere I read that the ARB Bull-bar is designed to work in this setup, with PTO, with a small modifications.

arb

arb do, do a commercial bar to suit the pto winch, it is either a standard winch bumper with no top piece or a standard bullbar
google arb and look up commercial bar,
we can arrange one and freight if necessary

You might need to up-grade your front springs to heavy duty ones to deal with the extra weight of ARB bumper and pto winch.
