I saw this picture on the ARB website. That thing is huge! I'm curious to see one of these in real life or at least some more pics from different angles. I'm still on the fence if I like it yet for my own 100. I like all of the functionality it provides. I'm just not sure if I can get past how big it is.

It looks good for:

Looks
Expo Travel

Looks bad for:

Difficult 4-wheeling

Though that's judging by pictures only.

That's kinda what I'm thinking too. But, I'll reserve judgement until I see it in action or in person at least.

Also looks bad for resistance to getting rear-ended compared to the Kaymar.

Greg, if you like the functionality of the dual carriers and want a low profile bumper, Luke at 4x4 Labs can build one for you. He can outfit it for jerry cans, a ladder or whatever.

Hoser,
I've seen those before in the 80's forum. That is a very sweet design. But, I seriously doubt I will buy any rear bumper with even one carrier. I've tried to talk myself into one with a carrier, but I get into the back a lot and I think it would bug me too much.

wow, that ARB bumper looks enormous...

<hijack>hoser, that is a great looking rear bumper. how much do one of those go for?</hijack>

fzjchase, Equipped with two carriers, approximately $2k

Jon, ask Jim if he would like someone local to demo a rear 100 ARB for for ARB USA.......if so I would be more than happy to help out, I am less than an hour away.......and will be in your parts tuesday :D

John

ARB 100 Series rear bar is modular. You buy the bumper, then tire or jerry can carrier for either side, and/or blank off plates depending on if you run 1, 2 or no carriers. We have some coming for stock. Trying to get pictures to get the site updated. Will work on pricing and details tomorrow for the new site.

Can you get some key data like weight and installed departure angles up on the site with a comparison to the legendary Slee rear bumper (and maybe even the stock bumper ?
