April Meeting in Triangle

I would like to try holding monthly meetings again in the Triangle. The purpose is to discuss upcoming events, trail maintenance, HAMOMs, and general club business. Since our weekends tend to get filled up with other activities, let's try meeting on a week night this year. My suggestion is the first Wednesday of each month.

This month's meeting will be Wednesday, April 6 at 6:30PM. The location is Tyler's Taproom in Apex.

This sounds like a great idea. I'd like to get more involved.

But I can't make this one, I've already got plans 1st Wed. every other month. 2nd. Wed? or just count me in for May.

...more unofficial meetings on a Wed. Thurs. or Fri. maybe at the Flying Saucer sound good too.
 
I penciled this meeting into my calendar. Can someone send me the name & address of the meeting place? I hope to be there in time for dinner and :beer:. I just enjoyed 2 KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stouts) by Founders Brewing Company. YUM.

Change in plans for me. I will not make the meeting on Wednesday.
 
Let's try parking as a group in the lot between Tyler's and Red Robin.

I plan to be there by 6:15 to get the lounge. It's through the entrance to the left, past the bar. If anyone makes it there earlier please take it. Unfortunately we can't reserve it.
 
I'm sure you could make any small group of people uncomfortable if you just start setting up on the couches behind them, or on the table. They'll eventually move!

URE Trail Maintenance (Wolf Den):
Will contact Terry with NFS to understand work weekend scheduling.
Plan to add monthly work weekends to club calendar.

Any last minute maintenance to get ready for STR?
Will start thread to discuss

Philanthropy:
Tentatively planning on Habitat for Humanity during August

Other Business:
Discussed creating member phone list on Google docs
Discussed creating tool loan list on Google docs
Ready to make the move to CB radios (away from FRS) for rides
 
I meant to send the update, but maybe Allen had already spkoe last night. Stickers are done, should have been picked up by my father in law this week. T-Shirt order was placed, Allen will bring both to OBX. It's a surprise to the design, we made some last minute changes. You won't be dissapointed!

Schedule needs to be finalized, but I've got the same format as last year, just moved the big run to Saturday. I'll place a link to it when we finalize and everyone will get a copy in the packet.

STR should just be a nice low key event. Wish I was making it.

No need to try and market it this year, eventually people will understand the appeal, and we'll have to turn people away...
Date is set for next year so it shouldn't interfere with GSMTR or Easter next year. I'm putting April 21-29, but we will need to confirm Windfest next year.
