You should hook up with Jason since he lives near 87 & 27, and split some gas money...

Does he need a ride? And I'd never take gas money, but a Diet Pepsi Max would work!

I've been debating whether or not to make this meeting.:hhmm:

But if fr8dog's green monster is coming, then I gotz to be there! :grinpimp:

I doubt he needs a ride. Since you mentioned the cost of gas, I was just suggesting you could share a ride. Of course there's a couple other members in your area too.

New plates came yesterday. Pics later today! :D

What time does this start again? I would not mind riding up in a 40 VS my truck. I need to see what time my wife is flying in though and to the Fayetteville Airport. If she was flying in up there it would just work out perfectly.

I will check back in with you on Saturday Frog. Yours looks like mine only 100 times better :D

Plan to start at 10am. No problem if you're delayed, because we'll be working on the trucks for a few hours. Most important time though is lunch at ~12:00...

Jason,

Looks like I might be taking my daughter with me, if I do, no extra seat if you need a ride!:frown: I'll know tomorrow! I'll PM you my number!

I'll be hitting the road tomorrow morning between 8 and 830a with my 4yr old daughter riding shotgun (kids are cool, right? She'll be bringing her bike and soccer ball - her idea ;)). I'm leaving plenty of time to ice up, gas up, coffee up and biscuit up. I'll be packing a cooler full of Pepsi, Diet Dr Pepper, Diet Pepsi Max and Sierra Nevada (not sure the rules or mores, but better to have beers and not need them, right? :)). I'll bring a floor jack, some tools, some jack stands, a dwell meter and timing gun (I might want to mess with my idle and timing), and some 24v cordless power tools. Anything else needed? Some small ramps?

If anyone sees a green 75 FJ40 traveling north, at about 50mph, on US 1 tomorrow morning, with no front driveshaft...that's us! ;)

I might need some extra hp to get home in time for dinner at our neighbors tomorrow night, will some one have any club stickers?

See ya mañana! :D

Yes sean I have all that stuff (i.e. stickers)

Look forward to seeing some new faces, we started on the axle rebuild today and things went very smoothly.

See yall in the morning.

Hello all,

Sounds like this is going to be a big one. I will not be able to make it though with the wife flying in tomorrow.

Don't forget to take a few pics and I'll make sure nothing gets in my way next month.

Jason

I'll see you guys today....

I'll be coming and bringing Bella so all the little girls will have someone to play with. She's stoked!!

Can I bring anything?

Chips?
Dip?

Let me know?

It was great to see everyone including the new faces, Tom, Mike, Sean, James.

Thanks again Clint for your hospitality, it was an incredible lunch, and a wonderful time.

Glad everyone was able to make it out, we had wonderful weather for such a good HAMOM.

Look forward to Charlotte and seeing those new faces.

I had a great time getting together with everybody today, a big thanks to Clint and his wife for the wonderful meal and hospitality.

HUGE thanks to Clint and his wife / family for the hospitality.

Not only was the food great but my little girl had a blast.

Great meeting everyone! Put me the schedule to host one of these in a couple months once I find all my tools!

Had a blast! Thanks to Clint and his wife again for the excellent food and hospitality.

Also, thank you for the advice given today for my cruiser. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Can't wait until the next one!

Another thanks to Clint and his wife! You guys set the bar pretty high for chow! My daughter and I loved the back ribs! Had a great time meeting everyone. Not sure I will remember names, and forget putting names AND faces to screen names for awhile!:o

It'll be fun to host one of these down at our place sometime in the future (after our house is built, which will be after we are done designing:rolleyes:) :D

Here is a gallery of pictures I took today! Not many Cruiser pics, mostly people!

You guys are very welcome. I'm glad everyone had a good time and the weather couldn't have been much better.

FYI, someone left their NC State pull-over at my house. Please pm me if it belongs to you and I'll return it.
