These two relics will be pulled from the brush by next weekend for me to pull anything from before the scrapyard claims them. Is there any parts that would be worth getting, let me know and I'll see what I can do and tell me if it doesn't look like messing with.
This one still has running gear. The other is missing most of the stuff and is covered.
I will post a few more pictures if needed.

I see one relic.... whats the other one??

As for pulling stuff.... the 3FE head and injection would bolt up to do a 2FE in your 40 which would be awesome.... better mileage and more power while being all toyota.

Those 62 axles are also not a bad upgrade on a 40 from what i've heard.

I will post up the other of what I could see, but it is on the drivers side of that one.:)
Motor is gone, axle may still be there, but not much else. I can't bring them home. Nowhere to put them. They are in Statesville at a shop that did the work on my 40.
Owner told me to get what I wanted before they go away. He's not in a hurry, they have been there about 10 years. That red trooper in the background was mine for awhile.

bumper endcaps, if not ratty door panels!

Here are some other photos from today.
The numbers are from the first one. As you can see, the second one had a little green growth problem that wasn't there two weeks ago.
They were going to pulled out by today, but NOT!!!

do they have the chrome steelies?

the other one looks like a 55

I am going to set up a time to pull what I can. If anyone in the area wants to tear into these, just let me know and we can have at it. I will check again with the owner, but was told to get what I want. They will be pulled from the weeds.

I'm interested in some of the 55 parts if they're in good shape. Bezel/front grill, headlight buckets, hood, dash and glove box soft pads.. etc..

Once you post more pics of the 55, I might be interested in coming to take a look, depending on year and what it actually has left. From the looks of it, I doubt it would have the fenders, doors, or the hood, but maybe Ill be lucky.

Earlier in the spring when I saw the 55, I don't think it had much on it. Pretty sure doors are gone, engine gone, hood and front bezel gone. About the only thing that stuck out was it had a front factory hook and maybe axles.
Was hoping to get pictures this week, but stuff is not good with wife's step dad (96 years old), so may need to stay close to hospital, but they aren't going anywhere.
