Oh I agree, that concept makes me glad that Hummers are no longer manufactured; but at the same time it's hard to argue with 2' of ground clearance! That Colorado is very nice and I'm diggin' the integrated winch.

Morning, my sister is the executive director at Ronald McDonald House Central Arkansas, which I am sure most of you are probably familiar with. Their #1 fundraiser, Chocolate Fantasy Ball, is coming up and they are looking for auction items. Do any of you guys have the contacts for the donors who usually give raffle items to your runs AND would you mind hooking me up with the contacts? I know it is a big request and people are always bombarding them for donations, but this is a great great cause. Thanks for your consideration.

We are currently in the middle of our "ask" season, so we're pretty protective of our list right now. Most vendors that come through for us are located out of state, if that means anything to them.

Personally, I wanted to win a table at an auction for a charity a few months ago (we got outbid). It was donated by a place in NWA called James+James (https://carpenterjames.com). Maybe they can donate something cool?
Or are you trying to get cool cruiser stuff donated so you can bid low and win? LOL

I'm not going to say the idea didn't cross my mind. The people at the event will ALL not be as smart or stylish enough to drive cruisers like the folks in this forum. I was really hoping for some tires or something that would be vehicle universal. THANKS

Just got this in the mail...trying to figure out the right spot on the rig to place it

Also just got this in...Ready for Welding...thanks again to Josh!

First on the scene of this wreck last night. Turns out it was Catholic High's prom night. His girlfriend was sitting in the passenger seat but only suffered a few scratches from the broken glass. He was in 4th gear going around a turn marked for 15mph. Don't drink and drive...

They were lucky...really lucky...glad that no one was seriously hurt...good on ya for helping them out Steven

I secretly want the snowpocolyps to come so we can be the only drivers on the road. I have been driving my cruiser everyday for a couple weeks and have really had fun, but then my power steering pump started to go out...

I hear ya on that one...problem is that there are too many dumb***es that you've got to watch out for...seriously, I think I'd cry if someone hit my rig...

That last Christmas where we got so much snow, I pulled some poor old people out who stuck their Cadillac in a ditch. It went against my better judgement, but they were old and it was Christmas. Right after I get him out and he is just a 10 foot chain link behind me, he decided to mash on the gas, "just to be sure he wasn't still stuck", hit the breaks and then slide right into my bumper. I just stood there watching with my mouth open in disbelief at the stupidity. Luckily, they ran right into my trailer hitch. No damage to my ride, but my trailer hitch went right through his grill. It's going to take a lot of good will or cash for me to do something like that again.

What is the best replacement part for a power steering pump on a 1991 FJ80? I told Austin Brothers to order me one and they said they couldn't find one to fit. Old one is starting to fuss a little...

Rock Auto and Napa has them for ~$100, plus core charge. They are rebuildable, and the kit is ~$15. You might contact some of the cruiser parts guys here on Mud and see what they can get you a used one for.

Georg at Valley Hybrids (orangefj45), Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters, Onur (beno), Jason at CruiserYard, and probably some I'm forgetting.

I'm "in process" of rebuilding mine--got interrupted a few months back and didn't get back to it. I bought a rebuild kit from RockAuto like was suggested above. Everything in the kit has worked fine so far. GL

Did I mention, taxes suck...
