I'm about to do the shocks and springs in a 2004 LC (my first big effort at wrenching on this beast - I'm starting with something not too complicated - I hope!). The rears come with separate bushings that have to be pressed in. If anyone in the Bay Area has a press and is willing to help me out I'd be very grateful. TIA!

If you are talking about shock bushings, most 100 series shocks come with the lower bushing installed. That being said I've never found press in shock bushings difficult. A bench vice should work. Put a little dish soap on the bushing first and it takes very little effort to press in.

They're OEM shocks. The dealer I bought them from sells them unassembled. FSM says to use a press, but it sounds like that won't be necessary. Thanks for the tip!
