Anyone want to Cut and Turn my axle for $$$$

I need my front FZJ80 axle cut and turned to get back castor. Is there anyone in the valley who can do this? I am a broke college student, well not too broke, but I just dont want to pay a fab shop to do it because they'd charge me for the bitchwork of removing the knuckles and all of that fun stuff involved with it. I am just looking for someone with a welder, who knows how to C&T a toyota axle. Im hoping to get this done before I leave for a month Dec 14th. Theres a few hundred bucks and some in it for you. KPI or Key Products Inc in Chandler usually cuts and turns knuckles on D60s (alot harder to cut off) for $250. Might check with them.

Hey Sean, do they do any of the calc's for ya on the angles or do they expect that to be figured already when you take it to them so you can just tell them how far to turn them?

No....they can tell you what the axle is set at when you bring it in, but you have to know what you want them to turn it to in order for them to do the work.

I called them this morning. They expect you to know it all. I know I need my axle rotated 7* back. However, theyve never done a toyota axle so I dont want to use them. Are there any cruiserheads who can do this for me?

Howdy! The original Fly-N-Hi shop on 35th Ave has done many Cruiser cut n turns. They did mine. They know the geometry pretty good. My rig steers/tracks good, and it's easy to stay striaght in the left lane at 80+. John
