Not sure - looking around here. Pretty sure it's a chinese thing though - but better than the ford 50 cent solenoids - that are probably built in china now as well.

Anyone should know better than to use the Ford Starter Solenoid for a winch application (except in an emergency).

Cole Hersee makes a 100 amp. four post continuous duty solenoid that will last a long time. For those with a Warn 8274 they will just fit under the cover.

I don't know about other applications (if there is room).

Just ordered one in canada, this is the same type:

Devon 4x4 Off Road - Albright Contactor - Extra Duty : DC88-540PL : Off Road Equipment from Devon 4x4

Will have the totals tomorrow, but should be in and around 175 CDN taxes incl, 8 weeks delivery as there is no stock in north america.

Will be nice to get rid of those old solenoids.

Going to buy another motor next, any ideas?

I haven't installed them yet, but you only need two of them, and they seem to be spec'd well, and reasonable in price.

The real version of that contactor comes from Curtis Albright. I use them on my 80....
