I found this on Ebay tonight:
1

TOYOTA LANDCRUISER 1978 4.2 V8 ALL ALUMINUM RADIATOR

Anyone have any experience with these radiators? The price seems too good to be true.

They have a bunch of listings for similar items. Some are 3.9 V8s. The photo in the auction looks like it might be the right part. Hard to tell though. I read through their feedback and the vast majority of customers were happy. A few noted minor fitment issues in their feedback. I need to find the two negatives to see what they said.

I got one like those from "The Radiator Doctor" here in Lake Tahoe NV

I've decided to try one on this build.............

Bling on Bling looks pretty good.........

I bought one. I too embarrassed to run it in my truck. Other Ebayers sell the same one (chinese crap)
for about 100.00. The craftsmanship is hideous, crooked necks and fittings , wled beads that look like they were laid by a drunken sailor.
The material is noticably lighter that a Howe or Ron Davis. I think I could poke a hole in it with a blunt toothpick
