Hey guys, I'm new to trailers so I don't know anything about towing. It appears the M416 is extremely popular bc of its size and weight, but the price is ridiculous and hard to find.
Anyone out towing an M1101/M1102 Military trailer with their 80 series?
I have gave up on finding the M416/M100 bc they are over priced and most are rotting away.
The M1101 weighs 1460lbs, they are in great shape with surge brakes. They are wide so I don't plan on taking it on crazy trails.
Does the width of of the trailer have any negative effects while towing? Other than being a little wide.

In my search, I noticed Raytheon and Silver Eagle make the same trailers. Are there any differences from these manufacturers? I read Silver Eagle make the M1101 with an Aluminum bed which is a nice bonus for me.

There are one or two pictures in the thread "what did you put in your military trailer"

That Grey one is sick but it's huge!
Your trailer is looking good, I have considered making one out of aluminum, frame and bed.
