Anyone tow a camper with the 460 Base?

Hello all,
I am looking for some insight about towing a 3500-4500lb trailer with a 2010-2013 base model. I am currently in the market, but I can't seem to find too many premium versions in the Colorado and surrounding state area. Without the sport mode, does anyone have good success and smooth towing with the base?

I tow a race car regularly with a ‘10 base. It’s about 5k lbs. and does great at towing. I use a Fastway E2 weight distribution hitch and of course a brake controller. I have a Bluetooth OBD reader and the Fusion app on my phone and I’ll monitor transmission temps when going up mountain passes.
