You'll definitely rip stock or reman CV boots lifted, but a diff drop will lose some of the ground clearance you just gained and can also damage things due to diff having extra leverage against the frame. The actual CV angle should be totally fine, mine is just as steep if not more so and I have had zero issues (other than boots) on and off-road with the CVs.
I kept ripping CV boots prior to switching to All-Pro high-angle CV boots on my original OEM axles around a year-ish ago. No problems since and I've been very happy with them, and have almost 12" of ground clearance under the front of the GX.
