Anyone know the PID for trans temp? (1 Viewer)

The trans should warm up to 195F eventually. There’s a solenoid that acts like a thermostat that ensures it happens. If you’re only seeing 160 either the calibration is wrong or it’s the wrong PID

If you’re already using an ELM327 reader, spend $6 on the EngineLink app and use my codes. Even if your goal is to ultimately get Torque Pro working, you can use the known good EngineLink readings and compare them to what you see to ensure they match

Did you ever get this to work?

I am using OBDLink LX module and OBDlink App and having the same issues as you in that I get the "no data recieved" message. The module is ELM327 compatible. I have input the user defined PID to match yours above. The screens even look the same.

No. Never got it to work on my 2000 or 2014 LC.

Turns out the OBDLink app and module I am using covers all the specific Toyota SAE PIDS, so both A/T fluid and A/T torque converter fluid temps are available on the dashboard of the APP.

Has anyone gotten *any* product to display the A/T fluid and A/T torque converter temperatures for 16+ LC? I've tried everything that has been posted about those PIDs, how to calculate, etc. for pre 16 LC with multiple apps with no luck.

Just realized I am reading an 80 series thread, I wonder if this setup will work for us fancy 100 series owners. Going to go with the same setup and either use their OBD link app or torque. Will see how it goes.

This is for my 200 series. I am guessing that it would work for your 100 series. The breakthrough for me was buying the toyota specific data package.

Confirming that what @linuxgod posted works for a 2011 LX570 on Torque Pro App.

• Toyota A/T Pan Temp. PID 2182. Formula ((((A256+B)(7/100)-400)/10). Range -40 to 300. Units are F.
• Toyota A/T TC Temp. PID 2182. Formula ((((C256+D)(7/100)-400)/10). Range -40 to 300. Units are F.

Exactly how the equation was inserted into mine. The method above wasn't accepted in my app.

• ((((A*256)+B)*(7/100)-400)/10)
• ((((C*256)+D)*(7/100)-400)/10)
