If anyone is interested, my family and I are planning a camping trip to Vogel June 19th through the 22nd. This ended up being much later in the year than I anticipated, but we are going to combine our anniversary, camping trip and the triathlon at Callaway Gardens all into one trip. Our plan is to get to Vogel Sunday afternoon, and spend each day going on little adventures. We're probably going to hit the rafting in Helen, as well as whichever waterfalls we can get to. I'd also like to explore as much of the GA Overland trail near Vogel as I can.
Even if you don't have any interest in camping, I will come up with some hard day/times for wheeling the GA trail, if anyone wants to get together as a group.
ETA: Sorry, I know it is during the week--weekends are harder to get off with my job than weekdays are.
