Bad Ass.
I had something like that in my head but not as clean.
Will suck if you have to remove bumpers or sliders, but I'm sure your aware.

Nice work bud.

Thanks Bob. Yeah, I prob should have taken the time to put in some roll cage connectors.....But I figured I would save the $ and when/if I need to cut it off I will add them.

I am hoping to be done with this project soon. It has turned out to be very time consuming. Rear pass, and detachable wings left to build.

Couple pics after a wash today.

Well I finished the last side this weekend (pass rear) Now I still have to build the removable rear quarter panel protection. I have a plan for what I am going to do. So for it being a "second" side" on the rear I thought I would shave off some time but that didn't happen. Still took me 20 hrs. I struggled on the large bend piece. I did it in one shot and all one piece. Wrapping the rear bumper wing went quicker than the driv. side.

Overall I am happy with how it came out. It looks real aggressive. It is very strong considering the spans of the tube. I am confident it will take some abuse. Maybe not a full weight monster hit but really what does. I will be doing some more gusseting on the sliders where the tubing connects.

Total of 65 hrs. labor. Not including any running around for materails, etc.

I think I will get some wheel spacers to get the tires somewhat flush with the outside of tube.

Nice work Scott

Thanks a lot Gary. It has been a demanding project. I am glad that part is over. Although it was fun learning a new tool. On to the bolt on quarter protection next.
Nice work Scott

So I felt like I finished after building the rear arches and bumper wings but....Not quite yet. I started on the bolt on quarter panel protection today. I got the driver side all done and half the pass. I will be connected the two sides with a bar they goes across the back. Both on hinge pins. These pieces will bolted on just when I go wheeling. I am hoping to finish this project up tomorrow. Well at least with the bender. I have a bunch of gusseting I will be doing on the sliders, and bumpers.

Some bad pics. One of my main lights in the shop s*** the bed.

I finished up my tube project today. I built the crossmember to attach both rear quarter protection. it turned ok well. It feels very strong. expecially when pushing from back to front. So a total of 80ish hours all said and done. I am super amped. Can't wait to see how it holds up on the trail. The rear section installs and un installs in just minutes.

Check out my finish pics

Thanks Will. Let me know when you want to swing up to check out your project.

I want to converting the bender to air/hydraulic. Anyone want to throw any money my way? Ram $78.98 + Mount $139.90 = $218.88
