JR Tires in Mammoth took care of me. That's the man to go if you need tire service in Mammoth. Dirt Scares me told me of time JR left a party to help him out in the snow. JR came and plugged my tire for me after he closed his shop for the day.

I'm up in Mammoth until Tuesday am. I have a hole in my sidewall that is plugged for now and I'm driving back to Los Angeles on Tuesday am.

Does anyone have a used spare 315/75/16 that I could buy from you?

2nd option is, do you know of a tire store in Bishop that would sell my
Toyo Open Country A/T in a 315/75/16?

3rd option is does anyone have a used spare tire that is 285/75/16

Any help there would be highly appreciated.

Please text me rather responding back on Mud as internet coverage is sketchy.

Perez tires looks like the only option that's open today in Bishop. Pretty sure @DirtScaresMe is up in Mammoth...maybe he knows of another option.

It also doesn't hurt that Bishop to LA is 300 miles of straight-line downhill. I also achieve record MPG on that run.

18 mpg, on 35" tires, fully loaded roof rack with camping gear, fully loaded interior with camping gear in a 96 FJ80, with 335K original miles on it?

That ain't bad. I think I get around 16mpg on 35s pushing 80+mph coming back from Bishop. I get 12-13 everywhere else.
