Anyone in 80 have an rx300 or a highlander??

ok... not tech here, but though I'd ask before I venture out to the others... are the door lock actuators the same for the RX & a highlander for the 2000 model year??? f ya know, great...many thanks... also, anyone here replace an actuator on an RX...i.e. pull off that door panel??

I'm going to guess not. I don't know for sure, but the RX and the Highlander both have a more complicated door lock setup. The panel of the RX is really easy though. A philips head screw driver, and a panel tool will get you there. The switches pull up to reveal some hidden screws too. Good luck!

I'd like to know if they are the same as well. My folks have a 98 RX300 that needs a new door lock actuator as well. The rear passenger door lock isn't automatic anymore.
