I love all the excitment going on in this section.

yeah. cant get anybody to talk about anything even off cruiser subject. I thought the food place idea was going to be something anyone could chime in on.

any plans for any activity in the near future? even thought if there is i'm sure that either my rig will be broke :doh:or one of my 2 :princess:daughters will be sick or some other random thing that will get in the way but...Murphy's law can't always win right?:meh:

I'm Here Too!!!

I will chime in -- has anyone tried the ORV Park that is just outside Olympia? I remember seeing a sign or ad for it just prior to my deployment.

Maybe if it works out we could do some wheeling there as it is relatively close and people would not have to travel far and could possibly get away easier. Just a thought!!!

By the way, if I was around I would have chimed in about food places.

That is StraddleLine. It is a pay to play park. They do the mud drags there some times.

It can be pretty hard with the wet clay depending on what you are looking for. There is a big hill climb that the mudders hit. There are also a few trails. A few of us went there a few years ago. Broke my motor mount there but it was pretty fun. Would be worth another trip and hit some more of the trails.

Ben, any idea what the price is these days or the schedule.

I also just read that the "Rain Country Cruisers" have a trip planned for Mt. Baker this weekend. Maybe we could bandwagon and meet up.

The only drawback for me is that I still have not had time to work out the issue with my rear locker and therefor do not have one. If we go somewhere that is more technical -- read lockers suggested -- maybe I could jump in with someone. Just a thought.

Anybody want to show me a good place to wheel in mid May?

I frequently check but hardly ever post, I guess am not a big talker

over another month without a word said... glad I bought my jeep xj, there more talkative and go out and run trails

maybe if I was lifted and such but havent had the jeep that long yet and long arms kits arnt cheap. went down to tsf with the naxja group for northwest fest, it was fun times.

I'll make it down that way one of theses days, at least for some camping and mild trail riding. I'm not much into body damage theses days. Too much to repair the broken stuff.
there is usually a safe way around most nasty spots or just head up the main trail until they cross again.

Was that with Pat and his jeep? You guys didn't have to do any bypasses with that thing right? Let's get your 40 running and I'll take my 60 and we can "explore". Not until it warms up a little. I don't think all of us would fit in your heated camper (nor do I want to find out :)).

It just depnds how many of us went. It sleeps 5 and we could put an air matress on the floor. I see your selling your arb tent.
The 40 runs, or I think it does. I charged the battery! It would need to be locked up to do anything there. With those new springs its not gonna flex much.
Call me I need a couple things checked out sometime.
