Finally got time yesterday to look at the rear locker and I believe I have tinkered and cleaned it enough for it to consistently work. I really need to remember to engage it more often (or here is an idea maybe take it places that require it to be locked in
).

Thanks for the quick reply but I willnot be able to purchase large upgrades for a little while. I have spent alot of money between the cruiser, painting my GTO, and buying a road bike the wife would like to save more for a while.
