One note of caution… my ceramic tint has a slight haze which I researched and found was universal to ceramic tints. It ‘s mostly noticeable on the side windows where I look through them at a 45 degree angle (looking past side mirrors). It’s most noticeable when the windows are totally clean which is a bit counterintuitive.
thats disconcerting

I have Llumar Ceramic Air90 on my windshield. Looks great, blocks a little heat. No rainbows or haze. I would recommend.

I've been in touch with several tint guys, including someone on reddit who seems extremely knowledgeable (but who knows). They all advised against 90 and said go for the 80. Real world advise like yours is invaluable, but now it puts me back to the paralysis of analysis

I have no issues with the 90, My tint guy at the time used that.
My current tint guy uses AIR80. I'm sure that will be fine.

Regarding your "paralysis analysis", which I too can easily get too caught up in. For me it's sometimes "data paralysis" with too much data...
But to the point, how much is it if you decide you don't like it? It's not irreversible. Yeah if you don't like it, if it's too dark/light/whatever, so you're out a few hundred dollars. Not a big deal.
Pick something, pull the trigger and call it done! 👍

LOL 70k later after doing that with my harley (worth around 5k today) taught me to stop doing that. I already have around 10k planned (things like the tinit, 3 stage color correction, ceramic coatings or PPF), skid plates, etc etc, - I need some money for retirement in 3 years :D
