I am looking at buying a Warn HS9500I in a package deal with several other things, and I find several good reviews on these saying they are quite fast and a good winch.
I want to see if any Mud members have experience with these, positive or negative.
I see that warn still has replacement parts listed in a diagram (hopefully they are actually available and not just listed).
The winch I am looking at looks almost new and hasn't been used but a few times.
Also, I am thinking about running some quality synthetic line instead of the steel cable for the safety reasons mainly when pulling... any advice one way or another on that?
I don't plan on using the winch much, more of a Boy Scout mode I guess.... I don't go looking to get stuck or in a bind, but, I want the winch and the line to work well when needed.
