anyone have a Yaris (1 Viewer)

I might have a longer commute soon, due to buying a house with a much bigger garden outside of San Diego. Currently I commute with the BJ70 or the HJ60, but even these have a much worse fuel economy than a Yaris.
Does anyone have one/ Like it? Why? why not?

I bought my daughter one about seven months ago. Nice little car, does not get the 40 MPG, at least when I drive it.

My daughter-in-law bought one a few months back, and she loves it. Much roomier inside than they look.

If fuel economy is your goal, it would be hard to beat a vw diesel. They just suck if it get colder that 20c though.

We have driven a Scion xa for two years now and love it. It is pretty much the same drivetrain as your Yaris with the 1.5l backed by a 5 speed stick. We have had ZERO problems after 52000 miles and we get about 36 with our highway driving.
I drive about 110 miles on an average work day, and a quick calculator session realized I could just buy a Scion with the money I was tanking up my FJ60 with.
